DUI Intervention Program
All DUI offenders are required to attend DUI School, have a clinical evaluation and complete any treatment recommended by the evaluator. The DUI Intervention Program implements Georgia DUI laws pertinent to clinical evaluation and treatment. DBHDD writes rules and implements procedures to interpret and enforce laws passed by the legislature. This includes setting criteria for qualified clinical evaluators and treatment providers.
For more information and to find Clinical Evaluators and Treatment Providers approved to provide services to DUI offenders, visit the Georgia DUI Intervention Program Site.
