Public invited to comment on proposed payment rates and policies for New Options Waiver and Comprehensive Supports Waiver programs

Georgians have an opportunity to review and provide comment on newly proposed payment rates for waiver programs that serve Georgians with disabilities.

For the first time in more than 15 years, DBHDD is reviewing payment rates and policies for services provided through the New Options and Comprehensive Supports Waivers, and public comment will be considered as a part of the final proposal.

Burns & Associates, a division of Health Management Associates (HMA-Burns), has published initial recommendations of its rate study for Georgia and posted them on its website for public review.

Interested stakeholders are invited to review the materials associated with the study, including a recorded webinar explaining the recommendations, at the DBHDD website or on the Burns and Associates website at www.burnshealthpolicy.com/GeorgiaWaiverRates/.
