If you meet all of the qualifications, a member of the DBHDD TA team will initiate the next steps – this can be a phone, face-to-face or video interview.
Due to the volume of applications received, we are unable to provide information on application status by phone or e-mail. All qualified applicants will be considered but may not necessarily receive an interview. Selected applicants will be contacted by the hiring agency for next steps in the selection process.
You may review the status of your application by logging into your individual account at any time.
Selection and Onboarding:
After the Interview process, a hiring decision will be made. If you are offered a position, it will come as a verbal offer of employment, followed by an email with a formal offer of employment when you accept. The formal offer will communicate further details about your position with DBHDD including start date and onboarding instructions.
All applicants who are offered and accept a position with DBHDD are required to submit fingerprints to check for the existence of criminal history information through the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Applicants will also be required to provide references, to include former or current supervisors and co-workers. Depending on the type of position, applicants may be subject to additional requirements such as a drug screen, motor vehicle report and credit check.
