Georgia children celebrated for living drug free

ATLANTA—The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities will host an awards ceremony for winners of the 2014 Red Ribbon Week competition on March 30, 2015.

The celebration honors schools and community-based organizations that have done an exemplary job of educating their communities about living drug-free and making healthy lifestyle choices.

The department expects nearly 200 people to attend the celebration. DBHDD Commissioner Frank Berry and Atlanta Dream star DeLisha Milton-Jones will provide remarks. Awards will be presented in the categories of elementary, middle/high schools, and community-based organizations.
