The Power of Communication Workshops
DBHDD, in partnership with Sangha Unity Network (SUN), will host four one-day workshops across the state focused on the power of communication.
Each workshop will be limited to 65 participants and will start promptly at 9:30am and end at 4:00pm each day.
Registration will begin at 9:00am.
DBHDD, in partnership with Sangha Unity Network (SUN), will host four one-day workshops across the state focused on the power of communication.
This interactive workshop will provide participants with a foundational understanding of the functions and purposes of communication. Participants will strengthen their ability to listen with intent and learn practical strategies to support effective communication for both the listener and the speaker. The workshop will also introduce augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) techniques and examples of assistive technology.
