This one-day HRST training will be conducted via webinar and has been specifically designed for GA Support Coordinators, State Service Coordinators, Intensive Support Coordinators, and Intensive Support Coordination Clinical Supervisors.

It has been updated with new training material as of October 2017.

This training consists of 4 modules aimed at helping Coordinators get the most out of the HRST.

The training modules include: 
- Understanding HRST Dynamics
- Empowering Coordinators to effectively oversee health ad safety
- Using the HRST report suite
- Using the HRST to write person-centered outcomes/goals

NOTE: Support Coordinators planning to register and attend this webinar training MUST now complete a brief online training course known as HRST Online Training for Case Managers. Support Coordinators who have not completed this training can do so by either:

  1. Requesting a CIS account by emailing [email protected]. In addition to your CIS account information, you will be sent a link to complete the HRST Online Training for Case Managers. Upon successful completion, you will be granted View Only access to the HRST web-based application AND will be eligible to register and attend  HRSTwebinar training.
  2. If you already have an active CIS account and you need to complete the training to attend live HRST training, simply email [email protected] and request a link to access the online training. This will enable you to register and attend future live HRST training.

Note: These sessions will utilize the GoTo Webinar online conferencing system.  Go To Webinar allows participants to log on to a website from their computer, view the facilitators' information online while listening to the facilitator through the use of a simultaneous telephone conference call.

PRESENTERS

Tammy Armstrong, M.S.Ed., joins HRS with over 40 years of rich work history serving people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.  Tammy has compassionately served as a special educator, case manager, and Program Director in both residential and Community Day Services programs.  She enjoys and is skilled in the areas of leadership, outcomes, and advocacy.  Tammy is currently a Client Services Representative for HRS, Inc.

David Toback, M.A. has 16 years of experience working in the field of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. He has worked both at the provider level and the state level as a training and project manager for the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD). David has experience in transition initiatives for those moving from institutional to community settings and also worked as an SIS interviewer for many years. He is a certified Person-Centered Thinking Trainer by The Learning Community for Person-Centered Practices. He is currently the Lead Southeast Service Rep for HRS.
