The Understanding Trauma training events are sponsored by the DBHDD Division of Mental Health, Jail Diversion and Trauma Recovery (JDTR) Priority Veterans Grant Program.  The State Director for JDTR is K.D. Paul, LPC, (404) 657-2140.

A JDTR pilot site is located in Region 5/Savannah, GA in Chatham County, and is managed by Everett Tolbert, MA, Local Project Director.  An expansion site is currently being rolled out in the Region 1/Appalachian area of Pickens, Gilmer, and Fannin Counties.
