Brandon served as the Assistant County Manager and Chief Information Officer for Forsyth County, GA. Forsyth County consistently ranks as one of the fastest-growing counties in the United States. In his role as Assistant County Manager, Brandon brought his management and leadership expertise in redefining the way government services are provided to the citizens. As Chief Information Officer, Brandon led a group of IT professionals in a digital transformation strategy to fundamentally change the way government approaches technology. Brandon brings his extensive experience in the private sector to lead a “consumer-focused” approach to provide services to both residents and those doing business within the county.

Prior to joining Forsyth County, Brandon served for five years as the Chief Information Officer for Herschend Family Entertainment, the largest privately-owned theme park company in the United States. During his tenure, Brandon was a part of the doubling of the size of the company, focusing on mergers and acquisitions as well as building a scalable computing environment to support the continued growth of the company. Brandon also brought a focus on data and analytics, allowing the company to move to a more data-driven culture, contributing to year-over-year revenue growth and profitability.

At Saab Cars North America, Brandon was selected as the Interim CIO to help lead the technology integration efforts between the parent company in Sweden and General Motors. During this time, Brandon was instrumental in managing the rollout of two new vehicles, built in partnership with General Motors and Subaru of Japan. It is during this time that Brandon developed his acumen for managing a multi-national technology effort and for building a scalable operation to support global initiatives.

Brandon received a B.S. in Operations and Systems Management from the University of South Alabama and received his MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a concentration in the Management of Technology. In 2015, Brandon was recognized as a finalist for the Georgia CIO of the Year award in the Corporate category and as a finalist for 2019 in the Non-Profit category.
