I/DD HOUSING SERVICES SURVEY

The DBHDD Division of Developmental Disabilities needs your assistance with a study that will help us see how we can improve access to affordable, safe housing for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). We are asking for your help in completing this survey. This survey is for adults (over age 18) with I/DD and those caring for adults with I/DD.

This study is coordinated by Georgians for a Healthy Future (GHF), which partners with advocates, community organizations, and consumers to build and mobilize a unified voice, vision, and leadership to achieve a healthy future for all Georgians. The study is funded by the Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities (GCDD), which aims to bring about social and policy changes which promote opportunities for the wide spectrum of diverse people with I/DD and their families to live, learn, work, play, and worship in their communities.

As part of our goal for this study, we are working in partnership with GCDD to see how we can improve access to affordable safe housing for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

If you are able to help us share the survey, we ask that you complete the following steps no later than Friday, September 30, 2022:

  • Please send the following link(s) to your DD community networks (including organizations, individuals, etc.):

For more information or if you need the survey in an alternate format, please contact GHF’s Graduate Research Assistant, Jessica Franks at [email protected].
