H. Mark Green is director of DBHDD’s Office of Human Resources and Learning.  Prior to rejoining state government in 2010, Mark served in human resource leadership roles within health care information technology companies ALLTEL Healthcare, Eclipsys Corporation, and McKesson, spanning a 20+ year private sector career.  He earned a master’s degree in business from Georgia State University, bachelor’s in pre-med from the University of Georgia, and various professional certifications/designations including Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).  Mark, a native Georgian, currently resides with his wife Kathleen on Atlanta’s Upper Westside.
