DESCRIPTION:This training prepares "New" PD Representatives (Employers of R
 ecord) to  begin Participant-Direction by reviewing: Role and Responsibi
 lities of the PD Representative/Employer of RecordCovered and non-covered 
 services under NOW and COMPEmployer authority and accountability\n\nThe "N
 ew" PD Representative (Employer of Record) is the person who will:Hire Par
 ticipant-Direction staff and/or service vendorsSupervise and manage staffA
 pprove employee time and vendors service invoicesEnsure waiver rules and f
 ollowedBe legally responsible for Participant-Direction services\n\n*If yo
 u are not the person who will serve as the "New" PD Representative (Employ
 er of Record)\, this training is not intended for you. Registrations submi
 tted by individuals outside of the intended audience will not be approved 
 to attend.\n\nAll "New" PD Representatives/Employers that attend the train
 ing must sign a Memo of Understanding (MOU) and complete an Attestation fo
 rm in order to begin self directing.  Links to the required documents wil
 l be included in your registration confirmation email. (check your spam/ju
 nk mail\, please) These documents must be completed and returned within 3 
 business days after attending the training.  Failure to submit required d
 ocuments within the required timeframe will delay the start of Participant
  Direction services.\n\nThese sessions will utilize the Webex webinar vide
 o conferencing system.  Participants will need a desktop computer or lapt
 op device equipped with video/camera capability.  Your camera must be tur
 ned on throughout the entire training session to engage with the presenter
 s.\n\nEach session will begin at 10:00am and end at 4:00pm\; Check-in will
  be held from 9:15am - 9:45am. Registration for this event will close once
